Jesus assured His disciples that one day they would “eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom” (Luke 22:30).
When the family of God comes together in His kingdom, we will enjoy Heaven-blessed food with Jesus! He will look at those gathered around His table and His heart will be full. “People will come … and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God” (Luke 13:29).
Some people wonder if we’ll even need food in Heaven, but the Lord promised, “I will give fruit from the tree of life in the paradise of God” (Revelation 2:7). Then John gives us a different view from his account: “On each side of the river grew a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, with a fresh crop each month” (Revelation 22:2). It sounds like God has provided more than enough for Heaven.
Before that day, however, don’t overlook the opportunity God gives you to “taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8).
